I didn’t actually know what a myna bird looked like, and despite the fact that I’m not trying to lean into any kind of accuracy with these comics, I was still compelled to look them up. None of these birds look all that much like a myna. I had a vague memory of a puppet myna from a Monty Python skit, which I also looked up, and the puppet myna does not particularly resemble the IRL birb either. So. Good thing this comic isn’t bound by bird taxonomy.
